2006 Audi A4: what owners report

The Multitronic CVT fitted to front-drive B7 and B8 cars is prone to slipping and mechatronic failure, mostly past 120,000 km, and a mechatronic repair costs about €2,000–4,000.2004–2015
B7 cars can rust on the tailgate, sills and door bottoms, and leaf-blocked drains let water into the footwells and onto control units.2004–2008
