LCI Luxury Line
Great little AWD PHEV!
Cheap to run, easy to maintain, looks great, and drives even better.
Being an LCI (facelift) version, looks refreshed and has most quirks of the 2014-2018 generation fixed.
Built on the renowned Mini Cooper platform, it drives like a kart, has the comfort of a BMW, fits the kids + all groceries, plus it’s easy to park.
List of options (not exhaustive):

Automatic LED headlights

LED puddle lights (interior and exterior)
ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control)
Lane keep assist
PDC (Park Distance Control)
Rear Camera
Mode select button (Eco/Normal/Sport)
eDrive select button (MAX eDrive, Auto, Save Battery)
Does about 20km on pure electric, before the engine kicks in and acts like a hybrid.
Of a 50km daily trip around Auckland, including motorway, does about 27-30km in electric.
Charging daily, plus normal driving around town, it averages about 4l/100km (and we have a lot of steep hills around our place).
With the eDrive button you can force the petrol engine to charge the battery, so you can optimize your battery usage based on your commute (eg: run on ICE on the highway, run electric in town).
For daily run around errands, kids to school, shops, work, friends, you can probably do it all on electric.
This is much better than your Toyota Corolla, Nissan Tida, Mazda Axela, Suzuki, Subaru Impreza, Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross, or any other similar category car. Maybe a Mini Countryman PHEV to compare (as the chassis is practically the same), but depends if you like funky styling, or a practical everyday car. And the all wheel drive definitely does the trick for the occasional trip to the ski slopes!
RUCs paid until 96200km
Still driven daily, so kms will increase slightly.
