2012 Chevrolet Camaro 45th Anniversary Edition. The 45th Anniversary Edition was released in 2012 to commemorate 45 years of the Camaro. The exterior featured Carbon Flash Metallic paint with grey or silver stripes, accented by a red “45th” panel on the hood and rear deck lid, along with unique 20-inch wheels and RS package styling cues including HID headlights, taillights, and a rear spoiler and a sunroof. Base models came with a 3.6L V6 engine producing 323 hp, paired with the flexibility of 6-speed automatic transmission and also with 6-speed manual shifting option when shifter is placed on M and then use the shifting paddles on the steering wheel. The cabin was upgraded with black leather-trimmed seats, embroidered with “45th” on the backrests, and accented with red, white, and blue stitching.
