About this car

I’m selling my 2009 Ford Mondeo Titanium 2.0 Diesel Automatic as I’ve recently got a new car and no longer need this one. The car has covered 103,159 miles and has been a good, practical car for me. It’s spacious, comfortable to drive and has a large boot. Recent maintenance: DPF cleaned in June 2026, Belt and pulley replaced in July 2026, MOT valid until 16 April 2027, Comes with 2 keys. Additional bonus: I’ll be leaving the external Apple CarPlay display in the car for the new owner, at no extra cost. The car has recently been cleaned and is ready for viewing. Just to be upfront, the front-left tyre will need replacing soon. I’m only selling because I’ve recently got a new car. Viewings welcome in Nottingham. Happy to answer any questions. Genuine buyers welcome.

2009 Ford Mondeo: what owners report

  • Used-car guides say the fourth generation's chassis ages fast: suspension joints, track rod ends, anti-roll bar links and shock absorbers wear, and the steering rack can leak or knock.2007–2014
  • Fourth-generation diesels bring clogged particulate filters, EGR and intake flap faults and high-pressure pump trouble; the 1.8 TDCi adds turbo and flywheel wear.2007–2014
  • Fourth-generation electrics are a weak spot: heated windscreen elements burn out, bulbs fail early, shorts trigger false fault codes and the windscreen seal can leak.2007–2014
  • The fourth generation seats five adults in comfort, has a very large boot and is praised for stable, precise steering among the best in its class.2007–2014
