Description

Taking offers and expressions of interest in this truck. It’s hard to put a price on it given what’s been spent and the current market. It owes me over $75k, but I’ve also done 120,000km in it.

This truck has never been used hard off-road or on beaches. It’s done 99% road use with some light off-road driving. I still haven’t really used it for its original intended purpose.

It’s extremely well set up for missions and touring. A very capable truck that also drives very well on the road.

Over $17k spent on a bull bar, winch, snorkel, 2-inch suspension lift, tyres, rims, underbody protection and roof rack. All professionally installed by a great off-road workshop.

Has the big Darche rooftop tent with awning and floor, worth another $2,000. Easily removable, but mounted on the Front Runner Slimline platform it’s quiet, low and barely noticeable.

Also has $4,000 of EcoFlow power equipment:
800W alternator charger, DELTA 2 2048Wh power station, GLACIER 55L fridge/freezer.

The interior is in excellent condition underneath Rugged Valley canvas seat covers and Sandgrabba floor mats, which have been fitted since new.

Regularly serviced at Ford, never skipped a beat, never driven hard or used for heavy towing.

It’s ready for someone to enjoy for years and use it for what I originally built it for.

I’ve had a change in circumstances and will sell if I can get the right price.

  • German breakdown data lists starter motors on 2017-2018 Rangers and starter batteries on 2020-2021 trucks as recurring roadside faults.2017–2021
  • Several Australian owners report electronic glitches such as alarms that go off at random, camera or sensor faults and lane-keeping errors.2015–2022
  • A UK buying guide says to check the 2.2 TDCi's oil pump drive and glow plugs and the air flow sensor on both the 2.2 and 3.2; the 3.2 automatic is heavy on fuel.2015–2020
