**This NZ New 2021 Ford Ranger Raptor is much more than a Ranger with a tougher body kit. Developed by Ford Performance, the Raptor was engineered from the ground up to handle rough terrain at speed while still being remarkably comfortable and composed on the road. Finished in Arctic White and travelled 121,875km, this example has the stance and presence that makes the Raptor instantly recognisable.

Under the bonnet is Ford’s 2.0-litre Bi-Turbo diesel producing 157kW and 500Nm of torque, paired with the 10-speed automatic transmission and selectable 4WD. Magnesium paddle shifters give you more control when you want it, while the six-mode Terrain Management System lets you tailor the Raptor to changing road and off-road conditions.

Where the Raptor really separates itself from a conventional Ranger is underneath. FOX 2.5-inch internal-bypass shock absorbers, a unique multi-link rear suspension with Watt’s linkage, wider track and 283mm of ground clearance give it an entirely different character over rough surfaces. This is a ute designed to soak up terrain that would have a conventional work ute slowing down.

This example is already well set up with a hard lid, towbar, sports bar, nudge bar and all-terrain tyres, giving you secure tray storage and plenty of everyday practicality alongside the Raptor’s performance-focused hardware.

Inside you get heated front seats, satellite navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, reversing camera and rear parking sensors, while the spacious double cab gives you genuine seating for five.

NZ New, powered by the 500Nm Bi-Turbo diesel and backed by genuine Ford Performance engineering, this Raptor offers something very different from a standard Ranger. It is tough, comfortable, hugely capable and still one of the most distinctive utes Ford has produced.
