Selling my 2007 Holden VZ SS Thunder 6.0L V8 ute.
I purchased this vehicle after it had been vandalised, with most panels having been scratched or keyed. The roof also has faded paintwork.
My original plan was to keep the ute and give it a full respray, but I’ve now decided to move it on and let someone else take on the project.
Good points:
- 6.0L V8 engine runs smoothly
- Automatic gearbox and drivetrain all operate very well
- Drives nicely
- Interior presents reasonably well for its age, with some general wear and tear
- Factory Thunder sports hard lid
- Great potential to become a very tidy and desirable V8 ute
Known faults:
- Most panels have scratches/key marks from vandalism
- Faded paint on the roof
- Ignition key doesn’t spring back automatically after starting and needs manual return
- Roof lining stapled back into position
- Loose interior trims and cosmetic imperfections
- Comes with 2 brand new tail lights to replace damaged ones
Mechanical condition:
Mechanically the ute is in good shape, drives nicely. Main work required is cosmetic respray and tidying.
