2017 Honda Civic: what owners report
- On US 2016-2018 1.5 turbo cars, fuel can seep into the oil, which Honda says can cause misfires or power loss, mainly in extreme cold; Honda extended cover on some engine parts to six years.2016–2018
- Air conditioning that stops cooling properly is the top complaint for the 2016 car on CarComplaints; forum owners trace it to a leaking condenser, which some dealers replaced under warranty and others refused.2016–2018
- Many find the ride firm or crashy, and the spoiler across the rear window limits the view behind.2006–2017
- Among 2006-2021 cars, US owner complaints on CarComplaints peak on the 2006-2008 model years and are far lower for most later years, with a spike for 2016.2006–2021
