2019 Honda Jazz: what owners report

Brakes are the main inspection weak spot: the 2002–2008 car shows rusty brake lines and worn discs, the 2008–2015 car worn discs, and on the 2015–2020 car the rear brakes can seize.2002–2020
Air conditioning is a known weak point on the 2008–2020 generations, with poor cooling, compressor clutch and relay faults and sometimes compressor failure; French owners of 2008–2015 cars report it four times.2008–2020
The 1.5 direct-injection petrol offered in the 2015–2020 generation from 2017 can build up deposits that lead to spark plug failures.2017–2020
German TÜV data for the second, third and fourth generations (2008 on) shows far fewer significant defects than average at every age, for example 2.4% against 6.4% at two to three years.2008
