US owners of 2012-2014 cars report engine failures, with average reported mileages of 61,000-90,000 and repair costs of about $4,800-7,500; engine is the most complained-about category for 2012 and 2013.2012–2014
US owners of 2013 cars also file steering complaints, including the car drifting; on the cars.com page for that year, one owner reports oil leaks and two report peeling or chipping paint.2013
UK owner complaints are mostly one-offs: two report rattling or knocking seats, two report poor real-world fuel economy, and one had the handbrake linings jam at 25,000 miles.2012–2017
German inspectors flag worn ball joints, torn driveshaft boots, high brake wear and an uneven handbrake on the 2012-2018 car, and transfer case failures are possible.2012–2018
