2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel Project

From Winnipeg, so needs inspection. This is what it needs to pass safety:
-rusty, rusted rear rockers and front fenders (see pictures)
-rusted fuel tank skid plate
-front CV axles, cv boots starting to crack
-cloudy headlights (just polish or replace)
-Battery light on (still charges normally)

Okay, so now that I got that out of the way this is one of the nicest Jeeps out there. Yes, it only has 95,100 kms. I’ve never seen one with such low kms. Exterior is kinda rough.

I was planning to fix it up but it needs too much for me and I’ve got other needy projects.

It does run and drive perfect, so smooth, really like brand new, same with the interior. I know the overland is better, but these are some of the most comfortable seats of all time.

The bad news is the exterior rust and lots of dings. Fix the body and you’ll have an amazing machine that will last forever!

I bought two years ago from Eastern Chrysler Jeep as the previous owner and the dealership couldn’t figure out how to fix the alternator charging issue.
After a ton of time and parts, I finally managed to put in a new alternator and wiring and it charges properly. However, the battery light will not go out (communication issue). I’ll find the code.
Has a few other little issues, could use a new turbo intake pipe (starting to crack) and the heated seats don’t work.
Otherwise, its an amazing vehicle and completely stock. So many options to make it into a perfect machine or offroad rig. Gets around 800 kms to a tank, diesel is expensive, but this thing is still cheap to run.
