This thing turns heads like crazy.
I bought it in 2021 from a chap in Orewa who had owned it for a few years and mainly used it to head down to the golf course on Sundays. He bought it from his mechanic mate, who had apparently spent over a year looking for a Wrangler in genuinely good condition.
Since I’ve owned it, I’ve never had a single issue with it. It drives and runs like a dream, an old-school dream, of course!
I live on the Hibiscus Coast and, to be fair, these days I pretty much use it to cruise down to the beach with the kids looking cool. Always stored inside.
Since buying it, I’ve done quite a bit to it:
My aim was to keep it forever, but an abundance of toys, a lack of space, and the fact that it simply doesn’t get used enough means it’s time for someone else to enjoy the ride.
It’s raw, old-school, full of character and ridiculously fun to drive. Roof off, sun out, and you’re instantly reminded why these old Wranglers are so much fun.
