Kia Sorento 2016

We are selling our 2016 Kia Sorento LX. It is in great condition inside and out. We have had it undercoated every year since we owned it. Oil changes done every 5000km with synthetic hi mileage oil. There are no scratches. The motor runs strong. It has heated seats and the air conditioning blows cold.

We drove it up to August last year and the last month we drove it, it was down on power. It didn’t seem to be shifting like it should so we took it to our mechanic and he did a transmission flush. He didn’t see anything wrong. We then took it to Kia in Tillsonburg and was told that the catalytic converter was plugged and that the engine wasn’t breathing properly so that’s why we were having trouble. It’s been parked since with my plan on replacing it myself but never got around to it and now I want it out of my driveway.

It needs the catalytic converter, battery sensor and carbon canister replaced. It will also likely need a battery since it is completely dead. We tried to jump it with our jumper pack but it wouldn’t go. The tires are still good and comes with a used set of winter tires not on rims.

We owe 4500 on the loan and that’s what I need to get. I would prefer e transfer or certified cheque. It will have to be towed and plates will be removed.
