It is with a very heavy heart and reluctantly that I am putting my Land Rover Freelander 2 SE up for sale.

I have owned her for the last 5 years, covering many miles, and she has never let me down. Over the years I have spent thousands of pounds making sure she drives, performs and feels as good as possible.

With 154,800 miles, she has been hugely well maintained, regularly serviced and cared for by an enthusiast. She has been run on Shell V-Power throughout my ownership and, mechanically, she drives exceptionally well no smoke and manage to get an ace of 36mpg.

Everything works as it should, and I genuinely believe this is the sort of Freelander that could give a true Land Rover enthusiast many more years and miles of enjoyment.

• Timing belt replaced at 101,000 miles

• Reconditioned rear differential by Bell Engineering at 120,000 miles
• New rear subframe and arms at 130,000 miles
• All new discs and pads front and rear
• Replaced all 4 Wheel Bearings
• Genuine Land Rover pads and new front carriers
• New front driver’s-side driveshaft and CV joint
• Front shock absorbers, springs and top mounts replaced in July
• Recent oil service, oil filter and air filter
• Gearbox flush and new gearbox oil
• Rear colour-coded spoiler
• Rear light and new seal
• 4 x new Michelin CrossClimate SUV tyres fitted February 2026
• Full 4-wheel tracking carried out
• Evoque 18” alloys in mint condition, straight and balanced

The pictures really do speak for themselves. She is immaculate for her age, and the amount of money and care that has gone into keeping her right over the years is reflected in how she drives.

I know there are plenty of Freelanders out there, but finding one that has had this level of preventative maintenance and investment is becoming increasingly difficult.
