2012 Mazda CX-5 - a reliable diesel SUV that’s been a fantastic second vehicle.
It has the 2.2-litre diesel engine paired with an auto, which has suited us well to both urban driving and longer holiday trips. The diesel engine helps keep running costs reasonable for a vehicle of this size.
As a 5-seater, it offers practical space for passengers, shopping and carseats. The boot is generous, which comes in handy for weekend trips or everyday use. This has been our second vehicle so has not had heavy use, is in very good condition overall and has been well looked after.
The CX-5 is known for its solid build quality and reliability, and this one has lived up to that reputation. It drives well and feels safe on the road, making it an easy vehicle to live with day to day.
If you’re after a practical SUV with good running costs, this could be a great option.
