2008 Mazda Demio - a compact hatchback that’s practical and economical. I’m the first New Zealand owner of this imported model, and it’s been a super reliable runabout - in fact apart from new tyres I haven’t had to spend a cent on this car.

The 1.3-litre engine is paired with an auto, making it easy to drive around town. It’s fuel efficient, which helps keep running costs down - something we have appreciated. The compact size makes parking straightforward, and it’s a good fit for city driving or quick trips. It’s in good working order and has served me well.
