2015 Mercedes-Benz B-Class: what owners report

Rear lights are the W246's one weak spot at the TÜV, and brake hoses and lines can corrode on older cars.2011–2018
W246 four-cylinder diesels were recalled because a faulty timing-chain tensioner seal could leak oil and let the chain slip.2011–2018
German testers note a jerky dual-clutch gearbox on the W246 and driver aids that needed several updates; the over-hard sport suspension was softened in mid-2012.2011–2018
Of three UK owner reviews of 2012-2020 cars, one reports electrical faults and rattles, and another a start-stop system that rarely works and recurring air-conditioning faults.2012–2020
