Meet Benji, my pride and joy! Reluctantly selling my car to help fund a new business.

Bought in Oct 2024 at 115,000 km, with 2 previous owners. From South Island road trips to commuting in Auckland, Benji has never let me down. Always garaged during my ownership and serviced on time or early.

3.0L V6 OM642 turbo diesel: loads of torque, yet smooth and quiet like petrol.

• NZ New
• 166,000km (will increase slightly as it’s my daily driver)
• Serviced at Mercedes-Benz Botany or Eurospecialist; invoices available
• Provident MBI until Oct 2027 (transferable to new owner)
• 5-year Fireball ceramic coating applied Oct 2024 (~$2k)
• Regularly detailed by Obsessive, and will receive a full detailing with Obsessive before handover
• 21-inch AMG wheels, Michelin Pilot Sport SUV tyres with good tread
• Water Pump and Transfercase has been replaced by MB Botany on Aug ‘26

THE HOMEWORK (full disclosure)

• Small, barely noticeable scratch on front-left bumper.
• Diesel fuel filter needs replacing.
• Front-left seatbelt no longer auto-tightens when buckled. The emergency PRE-SAFE tightening function has continued to operate in my experience. An MBI claim for the repair has been approved, but I haven’t proceeded with the repair yet.
• One rear air vent was glued by a previous owner and cannot be adjusted; other side works.

FINANCE & INSPECTION

• Outstanding finance will be cleared as part of sale, with confirmation provided
• Independent inspections and test drives welcome.
