2017 Mercedes-Benz Vito: what owners report

The ignition lock is ADAC's recurring breakdown cause for the range, on vans first registered in 2015, 2017 and 2019; the alternator is also listed for 2015.2015–2019
The same owners score the gearbox and cabin space lowest; three of the ten reviews shown mention rust or patchy build quality, two electrical faults and one heavy oil use.2014–2022
ADAC counts the Vito, Viano and V-Class together; its 2024 breakdown data does not flag the range as unreliable, and breakdowns rise from 4 per 1,000 for 2022 vans to about 17 for 2015 ones.2015–2022
Polish owners of the current generation rate ride and handling best, and four of the ten written reviews shown praise comfort and how it drives.2014–2022
