2015 Renault Espace: what owners report

On the 2015–2023 car the 1.6 dCi 160 dominates French fault reports: gearbox, engine failure, battery, cooling, EGR and turbo problems.2015–2023
The 2015 launch was rough: French magazine L'argus counted thirteen corrective campaigns in about 15 months, including engine wiring on early 1.6 dCi cars and R-Link 2 software bugs.2015–2016
Owners of both the 2002–2014 and 2015–2023 cars often complain that Renault dealers were slow or dismissive when the same faults kept returning.2002–2023
French owners rate ride comfort and cabin space as the Espace's main strengths; on the 2002–2014 car comfort is praised far more often than criticised.2002–2023
