2013 Renault Grand Scenic: what owners report

Two diesel owners had costly engine work: a UK 2012 1.6 dCi with a common-rail fault within seven months, and a French 2013 1.5 dCi whose turbo failed at 110,000 km and its replacement 10,000 km later.2012–2013
UK owner satisfaction for the 2009–2016 model swung from 4th place in the 2013 Driver Power survey to 53rd in 2014, mainly over performance and build quality.2009–2016
Space and practicality lead the praise: four of six UK owners of 2009–2016 cars and two of three later owners mention the seats, boot or storage, and a German used test rates the 718–1,901 litre load bay.2009–2020
Comfort comes up too: two of six UK owners of 2009–2016 cars and two of three later owners cite comfortable seats or a comfortable ride, though one 2017 owner finds the ride jiggly on city roads.2009–2020
