Über dieses Fahrzeug

I’ve owned this Forester for 4 years (put 58,000 km on it) and it has been fantastic. I’ve driven mostly highway miles to it. Originally from a non-snow state in the US, so the frame and body are remarkably clean compared to most Subarus of this age!

HIGHLIGHTS & EXTRAS

  • TWO Sets of Tires: Summer AND Winter tires, both mounted on Subaru alloy rims with good tread.
  • Clean Underbody: Minimal rust—solid jack points and arches.
  • Maintenance History: Regular full synthetic oil changes (2–3 times/year).
  • Adventure Ready: Roof crossbars + 1.25” Class 1 hitch & 5-pin wiring harness installed.

RECENT WORK DONE

  • Fresh exhaust work: New muffler + pipe.
  • A/C compressor O-rings replaced & recharged (A/C blows cold).
  • Engine valve adjustment.
  • New ignition distributor and spark plug wires.

GOOD TO KNOW / HONEST CONDITION

  • Oil Consumption: Typical for these 2.5L engines at this mileage—eats/seeps a bit of oil, just needs a top-up every few fill-ups.
  • Power Steering: Steering pump whines and can cut out at low parking speeds. It has been like this for all 4 years, not really present in warm months.
  • Upgraded Mirrors: Upgraded to larger premium-trim side mirrors for better blind-spot visibility (currently adjusted manually as the plug is different).
  • Exterior/Interior: Minor dents, paint scratches, interior wear, and windshield cracks consistent with its age and mileage.
  • Front catalytic converter is likely bad, was throwing a code so I did the spark plug non-fouler trick to eliminate the code.

Drives strong and handles snow easily. Perfect student car, winter beater, or outdoor adventure vehicle.

Price negotiable.
