2009 Suzuki Grand Vitara: what owners report

Lighting is the most common US complaint area: 2006-2007 owners report headlights failing repeatedly, and German TÜV inspectors also flag dipped beams and indicators.2006–2015
German TÜV data shows the brake lines on the 2005-2015 Grand Vitara flagged about 2.5 times as often as average, with worse brake discs and, on older cars, axle suspension.2005–2015
Auto Bild's editorial view is that the chassis feels wobbly, the steering vague, the manual gearshift notchy and the base 1.6 too weak for the car.2005–2015
