2011 Suzuki Grand Vitara: what owners report
- Lighting is the most common US complaint area: 2006-2007 owners report headlights failing repeatedly, and German TÜV inspectors also flag dipped beams and indicators.2006–2015
- German TÜV data shows the brake lines on the 2005-2015 Grand Vitara flagged about 2.5 times as often as average, with worse brake discs and, on older cars, axle suspension.2005–2015
- Auto Bild's editorial view is that the chassis feels wobbly, the steering vague, the manual gearshift notchy and the base 1.6 too weak for the car.2005–2015
