Rear legroom is limited: a 2022 US owner says long-legged rear passengers struggle and a 2024 owner finds little back-seat room, while an Australian owner and a 2025 long-term test note a rear-facing baby seat squeezes the front passenger.2022–2025
Very few owner complaints have been logged for the Corolla Cross: five in total across the 2022-2026 model years at CarComplaints.2022–2026
Fuel economy is a consistent plus: US owners of 2022 and 2024 cars report roughly 30-40 mpg, and Australian hybrid owners and a 2025 long-term test see about 5.0-5.6 L/100 km.2022–2025
A three-month Australian long-term test of a 2025 GXL Hybrid found no faults, returned 5.0 L/100 km at the pump and cost about $255 per service, though kit felt sparse for the price.2025
