About this car
A fantastic example of the iconic Toyota Land Cruiser 70 Series. A proper old-school 4WD with a 3.5L diesel engine, manual gearbox and the rugged simplicity that made these vehicles legendary.
I’ve owned this car since June 2022 and taken great pride in looking after it. Always garaged during my ownership, regularly serviced and extensively maintained.
The only reason I’m selling is that my circumstances have changed and I now drive it no more than once a week. It’s far too good to spend its life sitting in the garage, and I’d love to see it go to a fellow enthusiast who appreciates these classics.
Maintenance and improvements:
- Fresh WOF (valid to April 2027)
- Full service completed October 2026
- Full interior and exterior detailing
- Full panel and paint (July 2022)
- All four wheels reconditioned (Aug 2022)
- New KYB shock absorbers (Feb 2023)
- Timing belt, tensioner and drive belt (Feb 2023)
- Gearbox selector plate resealed (Apr 2024)
- New front discs and pads (Nov 2024)
Maintained by the same trusted workshop, Mt Eden Tyre & Mechanical, throughout my ownership. Eight WOF inspections and regular servicing since June 2022. Full service history and documentation included.

These older Land Cruisers have a character increasingly difficult to find in modern vehicles. Honest, mechanical and built to last.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed owning and caring for this one over the past four years. I’m in no rush to sell and would particularly love to see it go to someone who will continue looking after it.
