2007 Volkswagen Touareg: what owners report

ADAC does not recommend first-generation Touaregs built before 2010; it saw clusters of propshaft failures on 2007-2009 cars and flat batteries on 2007-2008 cars.2007–2009
US complaints peak for the 2005 model year, and a loud noise from beneath the car is the single most reported problem on 2008 models.2005–2008
