About this car
I sell my VW Touran in good and well-maintained condition. I have driven it for 175,000 km. The engine and transmission work fine and shift smoothly. Oil and all filters have been changed. Two new valves were replaced. Transmission: 7-speed automatic. I am selling it as a second-hand vehicle.

- Three UK owners report clutch or dual-mass flywheel failures, some just after the warranty ran out.2004–2015
- On the first-generation car, German TÜV inspectors find rust, broken springs and leaking dampers more often than average, and early cars need their ball joints checked.2003–2015
- On TSI and FSI petrol engines the timing chain can stretch, and repairs are expensive; ADAC advises buying a car whose chain has already been replaced.2003–2015
