The 3.0 V6 TDI is known for going the distance. Well-maintained examples regularly pass 300,000km, and there’s no cambelt to worry about because it’s chain-driven. At 187k, this one is just getting warmed up.

Unlike most A4 diesels with the 2.0L, this one has the sought-after 3L V6.

This NZ-new wagon makes a great daily commuter, family car or road-trip cruiser. It has plenty of room for passengers and gear, drives easily around town and is planted on the open road. I’ve been getting roughly 1000-1200km to a tank.
