Selling on behalf of my mother BMW X5 after 14 years of ownership, only because she has upgraded to a newer model.

This has been a great vehicle for us over the years. Always looked after, regularly serviced and garage stored.

Powered by the 3.0L 6-cylinder turbo diesel engine producing 160kW, with permanent all-wheel drive. Plenty of power, good ground clearance and a great vehicle for towing.

Condition:

Overall a reasonably tidy vehicle for its age, with the usual signs of wear inside and out.

There are a few minor issues worth mentioning:

Front passenger electric window goes down normally but can be slow or intermittent when going back up. (at times doesn’t go back up)

Bonnet gas struts are getting weak and don’t hold the bonnet open for long.

Driver’s door can occasionally be a little sticky to open.

Handbrake needs attention as it doesn’t fully engage as it should.

We’ve tried to be upfront about the vehicle’s condition so buyers know what to expect.

A comfortable, spacious SUV with plenty of power and a strong towing capability. The rebuilt gearbox is a major bonus.

Genuine reason for sale. Only selling because its upgraded.
