Mazda Atenza 2009

Selling our 2009 Mazda Atenza, a Japanese imported Station Wagon featuring a 2.5-litre petrol engine and an auto gearbox with sport mode triptronic and paddle shifters. It is a spacious five seater with enough room for passengers and bags, making it a practical choice for daily commuting or family trips.

As a reliable vehicle that is easy to drive, it handles everyday routines without fuss.

It has been unused for about 6 months or so due to needing some work, but not being needed by us. So she needs a new loving home.

Work required is a new timing chain. It has never been replaced and is very worn, we have been told. This is also the reason for the check engine light. And causes the odd noise. It has not been driven knowing this issue. And we are only just getting around to trying to sell it. Repair from the mechanics is quoted at $1,500. Might be a good purchase for a backyard mechanic. As such, selling as is.

As we dont really want to deal with it any longer as we dont need it.

Has also had a new battery fitted. Would consider getting the timing chain done for an interested party if preferred, for an additional $1,500.

The car has spent the last 10 years carting kids and a dog around. And has been very reliable for us during this time.

However, the interior has some tears, chew marks and stains. It would benefit from a proper interior wash. (Refer combined pics of this)

Exterior is generally good, and in better condition than the interior. A couple of minor dings, a few stone chips and only one bit of rust I can find from under the cracked paint. (Refer combined pics of this)
