Subaru Impreza 2006

Time to move on my completely original and meticulously maintained Hawkeye Impreza. I have used this vehicle over the snow season to go between Dunedin and Cardrona. It has never skipped a beat which isn’t all the surprising considering its history.

The first owner had the vehicle for three years, the second took ownership from Southern Motor Court at 24,000km and had it up until this year. It was essentially used as a second car and was garage kept its whole life, which is apparent when viewing the vehicle. The interior is near immaculate and the exterior also in incredible condition for the age bar a few minor imperfections (please see photos for details).

Mechanically the car is in perfect condition, with a complete service history as well as the big ticket items being done recently. Namely, the cambelt and fuel pump both done within the past 30,000km.

The car drives incredibly well with the symmetrical all wheel drive system paired with the very reliable 2L EJ20 boxer engine. Plenty of power/grip when you need it but surprisingly fuel efficient getting around 7.5l/100km on my trips to Cardrona.

No creaks/rattles and even still has the new car smell. The seats fold down completely flat making it very practical all the while being no longer than a Mazda3/Axela.
