2006 Toyota Estima 4x4 - a practical 8-seater that’s been a reliable family vehicle.

I’m the first New Zealand owner of this imported people mover. The 3.5-litre petrol engine paired with the auto gearbox provides adequate power for getting around with a full load of passengers and gear.

With seating for eight, there’s plenty of room for everyone, and the boot space is generous when you need to carry luggage or equipment. The reversing, front parking and side parking cameras are a helpful feature, especially when manoeuvring a vehicle of this size in tight spaces.

It’s in excellent condition and good working order mechanically. Everything functions as it should, and it’s been well looked after. The Estima has a solid reputation for reliability, and this one has lived up to that.
