Selling my RAV4 Hybrid LE because I’m switching to a Subaru Forester.

Vehicle Condition

• Only 28,000 km
• Excellent condition, accident-free
• Regularly serviced at Toyota (service records available)
• Quality seat covers installed since day one, keeping the original seats in excellent condition. Keep the covers or remove them.

OPTION 1: LEASE TAKEOVER – Ends May 2027

• Payment to me: $7,500
• Refundable security deposit: $5,500 (reimbursed to me and transferred to the buyer, subject to Toyota’s confirmation)
• Remaining payments: 7 × $454 = $3,178 (HST included)
• Lease-end buyout: $27,400 + HST
• Lease transfer fee: $400 + HST (paid by buyer)
• Kilometre allowance: 40,000 km total (approximately 12,000 km remaining)

Estimated total cost to own: $42,092 including HST and lease transfer fee.

The $5,500 security deposit is additional upfront but refundable according to Toyota’s lease terms.

Potential savings: approximately $4,520 compared with purchasing outright.

IMPORTANT: Lease takeover requires credit approval from Toyota Financial Services.

OPTION 2: DIRECT PURCHASE

Asking price: $41,250 CAD + TAX (you will pay the applicable tax at Service Ontario)
The lease takeover offers better overall value for a buyer planning to keep the vehicle.
