Selling our super tidy facelift Mk7.5 Golf GTI. The car has been very well looked after and is in very good condition inside and out. Good paperwork record of past services, and has just been serviced before sale. It’s one of the best cars we’ve owned, we will be sad to see it go!
The facelift gets a 10hp power bump, along with more aggressive restyled front end, restyled headlights, taillights, and wheels. Plus tech upgrades like digital dash, bigger infotainment screen, and more discretely packaged radar and safety sensors. This also has the LED Matrix headlights which are a genuine game-changer when driving on the open road. These are really high spec. The NZ New 7.5’s are disappointingly low spec.
The GTI is one of the most popular cars on the road for a reason, they genuinely are such a great car. They drive beautifully, are very comfortable, and have a nice quality interior. It’s a lovely place to sit. The fuel economy is great, around town is 8-10L/100km, and easily into the 6L/100km territory on a trip. Yet it also has the power to get up and boogie when you want it.
