Volkswagen Jetta 2011

Selling our 2011 Volkswagen Jetta Sportline, 2.5L 5-cylinder with a 5-speed manual transmission. 174,651 km.

We bought this car new and have owned it since. It has been a great car and is genuinely fun to drive. The engine still runs beautifully, but it became our second vehicle several years ago and hasn’t seen a lot of use in recent years.

It recently went in for inspection and did not pass. At this point, it needs more work than we’re interested in taking on, so we’ve decided to sell it as-is to someone who may be able to do the work themselves or use it as a project/parts car.

Issues identified at the recent inspection include:

• Rust/rocker-panel work required
• Parking brake not functioning
• Left rear brake caliper seized
• Right rear parking-brake cable broken
• Left-front coil spring broken
• Left-front strut requires attention
• Left-front sway-bar bracket bolt broken
• Coolant reservoir was found empty

The car does not have a current MVI and is being sold as-is, where-is. The Canadian Tire inspection paperwork is available.

Sportline trim with sunroof, heated seats, sport interior and 5-speed manual. Interior is in good condition for the year.

Photos were taken last year. The car still presents similarly overall, although the rocker-panel rust has progressed since the photos were taken.

Currently on steel wheels.
